* At 532 AM EDT, radar and automated rain gauges indicated heavy rain falling across the warned area. Between 1 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. The expected rainfall rate is 1 to 2 inches in 1 hour. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are possible. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.

Edward Subler
Edward N. Subler, 81, of Versailles, died at 9:20 p.m. Aug. 30, 2006, at Versailles Health Care Center.
He was born Dec. 13, 1924, in North Star, to Nicholas A. and Clara Ann Bulcher Subler. On April 21, 1951, he married Clara Barga, who survives.
Also surviving are two sons, Jerome (Wanda) and Luke (Christina), both of Versailles; three daughters, Catherine (Joseph) Wenning, Coldwater, Teresa (Ed) Moorman, St. Henry, and Paula (Carl) Meinderding, Versailles; 11 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Deceased are four sisters, Mildred McEldowney, Marcella Monnin, Josephine Bey and Frances Borgerding; and a grandson.
He was a retired self-employed millwright and carpenter and retired member of the Versailles Fire Department. He was a member of St. Denis Catholic Church and Knights of Columbus Council 1756, both of Versailles.
Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Monday at the church, the Rev. David Vincent officiating. Burial is at Holy Family Church Cemetery, Frenchtown.
Calling is 3-8 p.m. Sunday at Bailey Zechar Funeral Home, Versailles. Knights of Columbus rosary service is 7:30 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
