Helen Stang
Helen I. Stang, 96, formerly of Celina, died at 6:30 p.m. Sept. 2, 2006, at Otterbein St. Marys Retirement Community.
She was born Sept. 27, 1909, to Sam and Blanche Keifer Silvers, New Weston. She married Elmer Shepherd and Earl Stang, both of whom are deceased.
Survivors are a great-niece, Michelle Risch, Celina.
Deceased is a sister, Marcella Risch.
She was a member of St. Paul's United Methodist church, Celina and the Martha Circle. She was president of the Weslyn class for many years.
Services are 11 a.m. Wednesday at Lehman-Hogenkamp-Dzendzel Funeral Home, Celina, the Rev. Jeff Smalley officiating. burial will follow in Abbotsville Cemetery.
Calling is after 10 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Contributions can be made to the St. Paul's United Methodist Church Youth Green House.
