U.S. 127 acreage rezoned

Deputies probe aluminum theft
The Mercer County Sheriff's Office continues to investigate the apparent theft of rolled aluminum valued at $25,000 from a Celina-area business.
Lavern W. Gross, president of Alumetal Manufacturing, 4555 U.S. 127, reported 20 coils of aluminum missing from the plant at 6:30 p.m. Saturday.
Farmers, motorists both should use caution
Some local farmers with livestock have been taking off corn silage the last couple of weeks and the fall harvest for grain will be in full swing soon.
That means an increase in farm tractors and equipment on the roadways and a greater potential for auto accidents involving farm equipment.
