The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued a statewide Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to adversely impact air quality.
Pollutants across the state are expected to range from the 'Unhealthy For Sensitive Groups' category in the southwest part of the state to the 'Unhealthy' category in the rest of the state. Hourly concentrations at times may reach the 'Very Unhealthy' to 'Hazardous' categories.
It is recommended, when possible, to avoid strenuous outdoor activities, especially those with heart disease and respiratory conditions like asthma. Watch for symptoms including wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, dizziness, or burning in the nose, throat, and eyes.

Cletus Beyke
Cletus J. Beyke, 81, 1515 Irmsher, Celina, died Sept. 24, 2006, at his residence.
He was born July 23, 1925, in Sharpsburg, to Henry and Walburga Rohrer Beyke. On June 5, 1948, he married Wilma Bertke Beyke, who survives.
Also surviving are a son, William (Mary), St. Henry; four daughters, Susan (Bob) Avery, Kendallville, Ind., Connie (Mike) Harvey, Englewood, Ann (Patrick) Hull, Celina, and Kathryn Bergman, Portland, Ind.; a brother, Henry (Patricia), Franklin, Tenn.; 15 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two stepgrandchildren and eight stepgreat-grandchildren.
Deceased are four brothers, Jacob, Barney, Lee and Albert; and two sisters, Mildred Wendel and Mary Goubeaux.
He worked over 45 years at the former Fullenkamp Distributing and Mercer Beverage, St. Henry. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army Air Corps, serving as a corporal during World War II. He was a member of St. Francis Catholic Church, Cranberry Prairie, and Maria Stein Adoration Guild. He was a past president of Knights of St. John, Maria Stein, past 7th district president and former member of the uniform group.
Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the church the Rev. Larry Wyen officiating. Burial is at the church cemetery.
Calling is 2-8 p.m. Tuesday and 9-10 a.m. Wednesday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, St. Henry.
