Bertha Bowman
Bertha R. Bowman, 96, 109 Garman Ave., Celina, died at 7:10 a.m. Oct. 24, 2006, at Celina Manor Nursing Home.
She was born Dec. 30, 1909, in St. Peter, to Bernard and Mary Fullenkamp Jacobs. On Oct. 9, 1953, she married Henry Bowman, who died March 7, 2003.
Survivors are a stepson, Michael, Madison, Wis.; two stepdaughters, Angela Rainstar, Yucca Valley, Calif., and Suzanne Schildler, Monterey, Calif.; and three grandchildren.
Deceased are a stepdaughter, Maddelin; four brothers, Victor, Leander, Jerome and Norbert Jacobs; and two sisters, Sister Mary Constance Jacobs and Agnes Jacobs Brunswick.
She worked at Central Motors, Fort Wayne, Ind., and Allied Van Lines, Lansing, Mich., and was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Celina, and its Altar Rosary Sodality.
Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Monday at the church, the Rev. Richard Riedel officiating. Burial will follow at the church cemetery.
Calling is 6-8 p.m. Sunday and 9-10 a.m. Monday at Lehman-Hogenkamp-Dzendzel Funeral Home, Celina.
