Norma Jean Slife
Norma Jean Slife, 81, of Vandalia, died 8:30 a.m. Oct. 22, 2006, at Brown County Hospital, Georgetown.
She was born July 12, 1925, in Troy, to Jesse and Callie Mae Werts. Her husband of 49 years, Carl Slife, survives.
Also surviving are three sons, Carl (Karel), Celina, Robert (Betty), Salisbury, N.C., and Richard (Dawn), Warner Robins, Ga.; a daughter, Debra (Ted) Jones, Sardinia; a brother, Allen Werts, West Milton; a sister, Delores Laub, Fort Myers, Fla.; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was a homemaker.
Services are 1 p.m. Thursday at Tobias Funeral Home, Belmont Chapel, Dayton. Burial is at Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery.
