Mendon man seeks damages for daughter's death
A Mendon man has filed a lawsuit in federal court seeking more than $1.5 million from the Parkway school district, its school board and a former golf coach for the traffic death of his daughter two years ago. [More]
Attorneys for the Parkway Local Schools board of education and Mercer and Van Wert counties replied recently to the civil suit filed against them by James Shaffer of Mendon on behalf of his daughter, Brittany, who was killed in a car accident Oct. 5, 2004.
