* WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible.
* WHERE...Portions of east central Indiana, including the following counties, Fayette, Union and Wayne and Ohio, including the following counties, Auglaize, Champaign, Clark, Darke, Delaware, Fairfield, Fayette, Franklin, Greene, Hardin, Hocking, Licking, Logan, Madison, Mercer, Miami, Montgomery, Pickaway, Preble, Shelby and Union.
* WHEN...From 4 PM EDT this afternoon through Thursday morning.
* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - A complex of storms will develop later this afternoon and continue overnight. Repeated rounds of storms, combined with the extremely wet soil conditions will increase the risk for flash flooding later this evening into the overnight hours.

Myrle Poeppelman
Myrle J. Poeppelman, 64, of Coble Road, Yorkshire, died the late afternoon of Nov. 13, 2006, at home. Death was due to natural causes following a sudden illness.
He was born July 1, 1942, in Celina, to Lawrence F. and Mercedes M. Luttmer Poeppelman, who survive in Maria Stein. On Oct. 16, 1971, he married Mary Kuether, who survives.
Also surviving are a daughter, Christine (Charles Jr.) Jacobs, Piqua; a mother-in-law, Mary Kuether, Houston; and two grandchildren.
Deceased is a brother, Allen.
He was a senior metalworking sales engineer for Kennametal Inc., Latrobe, Pa., and the clerk for Poeppelman's Auctioneer Service. He was a 1960 graduate of Marion Local High School and obtained an associate degree in mechanical engineering at the University of Dayton. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army Reserves based in St. Marys, and with the U.S. Air Force Reserves at Wright Patterson Air Force Base, serving during the Vietnam Era.
He was a member of St. Nicholas Catholic Church and its men's sodality, Osgood; American Legion Post 588, Osgood; Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 1391, Minster; a past member of the Osgood Community Volunteer Fire Department and a charter member of the Goat Farmers.
Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Friday at the church, the Rev. David L. Zink officiating. Burial will follow at St. Martin's Cemetery, Osgood.
Calling is 2-8 p.m. Thursday and 9-10 a.m. Friday at Gehret Funeral Home, Fort Loramie.
