Marguerite Warner
Marguerite E. Warner, 94, 105 N. Jefferson St., New Bremen, died at 4:20 a.m. Nov. 14, 2006, at Heritage Manor Nursing Home, Minster.
She was born Feb. 9, 1912, in Minster, to Henry and Clara Mitler Athmer. On Nov. 17, 1931, she married Raymond J. Warner, who died Oct. 22, 1986.
Survivors are a son-in-law, Larry Schwarck, New Knoxville; a daughter-in-law, Ruth, Oxnard, Calif.; six grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren and four great-great-granddaughters.
Deceased are a son, Donald; a daughter, Joann Schwarck; a brother, Leandor Athmer; a sister, Henrieta Dirkson Huelsman; and a great-grandchild.
She was a homemaker and member of First United Church of Christ, New Knoxville, and New Bremen Senior Citizens.
Services are 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the church, the Rev. David Williams officiating. Burial is at Pilger Ruhe Cemetery, New Knoxville.
Calling is 4-7 p.m. Friday at Gilberg-Hartwig Funeral Home, New Bremen, and after 9:30 a.m. Saturday at the church.
