Orville Webb
Mendon native Orville B. Webb, 95, of Avenal, Calif., died Dec. 8, 2006, at his home.
He was born April 9, 1911, in Mendon, to Tony F. and Ida Lemmond Webb.
Survivors are two sons, Jim (Liz) and Gene (Bonnie), all of Hanford, Calif.; three daughters, Janice (George) Wilkinson, Hanford, and Carol Webb and Alice (Geoff) Saunders, all of Avenal; a brother, Jake, Mendon; three sisters, Eileen Brown, Mendon, Maxine Chamberlain, Sandusky, and Doris Rumbler, Wheeling, W. Va.; nine grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild.
He was a retired large engine mechanic for Pacific Gas and Electric of northern California.
Graveside services are 9 a.m. Wednesday at Grangeville Cemetery, Armona, Calif.
Contributions can be made to the American Heart Association, Fresno, Calif.
Arrangements are by Phipps-Dale Funeral Chapel, Lemoore, Calif.
