Areas of fog still linger reducing visibility in a number of locations. There remain a few localized places where visibility is as low as one mile.
Visibility will continue to improve through the early morning hours. But motorists should still be prepared for changes in visibility along their route and exercise extra caution.

Jessie Mechling
Jessie May Mechling, 87, 313 N. Main St., St. Marys, died Dec. 16, 2006, at Patrician Health Care Center, North Royalton.
She was born May 7, 1919, in Gomer, to Hugh and Grace Manuel Griffith. On Sept. 15, 1940, she married Harold E. Mechling, who died July 26, 1979.
Survivors are two daughters, Diane (Malcolm) Baumgardner, North Royalton, and Mari-Ellen (Dennis) Bobel, Plymouth, Minn.; a daughter-in-law, Linda, Van Wert; a sister, Nina Redmon, Delphos; a sister-in-law, Mary Griffith, Levittown, Pa.; eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Deceased are a son, Thomas; two brothers, Percy and Paul Griffith; and two sisters, Margaret Kizer and Norma McGuire.
She retired from Joint Township District Memorial Hospital, St. Marys, where she was registration clerk in the emergency department. She and her husband owned and operated the former Harold's Flowers, St. Marys. She was a graduate of Gomer High School and a member of Wayne Street United Methodist Church and its choir, St. Marys, and the St. Marys Music Club.
Private family services and a public celebration of life will be held at a later date. Burial is at Elm Grove Cemetery, St. Marys.
Contributions can be made to the donor's choice.
