Periods of light snow along with scattered snow showers will continue through the overnight and into Thursday morning. Accumulations are expected to be light, however, with dropping temperatures, slick spots will be possible for the Thursday morning commute. Some snow showers may produce a quick few tenths to a half inch of accumulation, which would increase the potential for slick spots in localized areas. If traveling, use caution, as road conditions could quickly change across short distances and on elevated surfaces like bridges and overpasses.

Ila Bushong

Ila Beth Chivington Bushong, 80, died at 7:35 a.m. Dec. 25, 2006, at Valley Nursing Home, St. Marys, where she was a resident.

She was born Sept. 12, 1926, in Mercer County, to Willis J. and Melissa Cain Chivington. She married Eugene Bushong, who is deceased.

Survivors are a son, Ned E. (Jane), Lima; and a sister, Glee Kruse, St. Marys.

Deceased are a son, Terry; six brothers, Olen, Don, Dale, Boyd, Claude and Ivan Chivington; and a sister, Lottie Cully.

She worked at the former Cotton Mill, St. Marys.

Services are 2 p.m. Thursday at Cisco Funeral Home, St. Marys, the Rev. Marilyn Chivington Hardman officiating. Burial is at Elm Grove Cemetery, St. Marys.

Calling is 5-7 p.m. Wednesday and after 1 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
