Bennie Garman
Celina native Bennie R. Garman, 69, of Warren, Ind., died at 12:15 p.m. Jan. 10, 2007, at his residence. Death was due to cancer. His health was failing for four years.
He was born March 2, 1937, in Celina, to Harvey and Clema Rhoades Garman. His first wife, Grace Puschell Garman, died Feb. 6, 1993. On July 2, 1994, he married Carolyn Grover Garman, who survives.
Also surviving are a son, Randy, Celina; five daughters, Jennie (Mark) Evans, Debra Fletcher and Lana Mullins, all of Celina, Julie (Dave) Eicher, Decatur, Ind., and Janice (Scott) Raybuck, Ridgeway, Wisc.; two stepsons, Jeff and Michael Daughtery, both of Warren, Ind.; a stepdaughter, Kathy (Mike) Trout, Warren; two sisters, Kate (Ted) Ballinger, Celina, and Mary, Toledo; eight grandchildren; four stepgrandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Deceased are an infant son, Richard; a brother, Lewis; and a sister, Gladys Dillon.
He was a house painter, working over 50 years for Kessler Builders, Celina. He attended The Nazarene Church of Celina.
There will not be services or calling. Burial will be at a later date in Mercer Memory Gardens, Celina.
Contributions can be made to American Cancer Society or Family Hospice of Northeast Indiana.
