Elaine Elder
Elaine K. Elder, 60, 255 Enterprise St., Celina, died at 9:12 p.m. Jan. 19, 2007, at St. Rita's Medical Center, Lima. Death was due to natural causes.
She was born July 7, 1946, in Celina, to Willis and Mabel Curry Elder.
Survivors are six nieces, Christin Riley,Indianapolis, Ind., Deborah Nutt, Celina, Cheryl Shrout, Mount Dora, Fla., Rachael Wiley, Cincinnati, Emily Elder, Charlotte, N.C., and Sara Elder Usai, Geneva, Switzerland; several great and great-great nieces and nephews.
Deceased are a brother, Robert and a sister, Joan Nutt.
She was a customer service representative at First Financial Bank, Celina. She was a member of Bethany United Methodist Church, Celina, and a graduate of its Boosters Sunday School Class and Celina High School. She was also a member of Darke County Area Emmaus Community.
Services are noon Saturday at the church, the Revs. Michael Westbay and James Wilson officiating. Burial is at at later date in Swamp College Cemetery.
Calling is after 10 a.m. Saturday at the church.
Contributions can be made to the church capital fund or State of the Heart Home Health & Hospice.
