Warren Anderson
Warren D. Anderson, 86, of 4470 state Route 127, Celina, died at 5:37 a.m. Feb. 16, 2007, at Mercer County Community Hospital, Coldwater.
He was born Sept. 7, 1920, in Coldwater to Albert Boyd and Martha Jean Ransbottom Anderson. On April 8, 1947, he married Betty Kallmeyer-Fox, who survives in Celina.
Also surviving are four sons, Monte (Diana), Lima, Scott (Denise) and Joel, all of Celina, and Kevin (Lori), Cincinnati; five daughters, Pamela (Mark) Bly, Washington, D.C., Debra (Tom) May, Lisa Stahl and Lorraine, all of Celina, and Stephanie (Allen) Birt, Montezuma; a brother, Herbert (Audra), Celina; 18 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Deceased are two sons, Brent and Chris; two brothers, Howard and Russell; and four sisters, Ashley, Esther, Eva and Elsie.
He was retired from Avco New Idea, Coldwater, since 1984 and was co-owner of Willow Restaurant, Celina, from 1950-1972. He was a WWII veteran who served in the Army Air Corp in North Africa. He was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Celina, The American Riffle Association, Celina Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 5713, Celina American Legion Post 210 and Celina Masonic Lodge 241.
Funeral Mass is 1 p.m. Monday at the church, the Rev. Richard Riedel officiating. Burial will follow ar Swamp Cemetery, Celina, with military honors by the VFW and American Legion.
Calling is 2-6 p.m. Sunday and before 12:30 p.m. Monday at Lehman-Hogenkamp-Dzendzel Funeral Home, Celina.
