Sharon Hoffhines
Sharon J. Hoffhines, 74, of Rockford, died March 2, 2007, at Van Wert County Hospital.
She was born May 7, 1932, in Haviland, to Leonard and Maye Hulda Coil Cryer. On August 13, 1952, she married Richard (Beakie) Hoffhines, who survives.
Also surviving are two sons, Dave (Donna), Coldwater, and Randy (Kim), Vermilion; a daughter, Cyndi (Jim) Runneals, Rockford; three sisters, Lois Miller, New Haven, Ind., Phyllis Rogers, Van Wert, and Mary Manship, Columbus; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Deceased are five brothers, Russell, Raymond, Howard, Duane and Pete Cryer.
She was a homemaker and worked many years for Home Plate Restaurant and was a charter member of Fraternal Order of Eagles Ladies Auxiliary Post 1292, both of Rockford.
Services are 10 a.m. Tuesday at Ketcham-Ripley Funeral Home, Rockford, the Rev. Robert Loar officiating. Burial is at Riverside Cemetery, Rockford.
Calling is 2-8 p.m. today and 9-10 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. The Eagles Auxiliary will conduct a service at 7 p.m. Monday.
