* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.
* WHERE...Northwestern Auglaize County in west central Ohio... Mercer County in west central Ohio...
* WHEN...Until 1045 PM EDT Thursday.
* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Numerous roads remain closed due to flooding. Expect many areas of slow moving or standing water.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 421 PM EDT, local law enforcement reported flooding in the warned area, with numerous roads remaining closed due to high water. Between 2.5 and 3.5 inches of rain have fallen. Flooding impacts will continue, but no additional rainfall is expected. - Some locations that may experience flooding include... Celina, St. Marys, Coldwater, New Bremen, Rockford, Wabash, Mendon, Chickasaw, Montezuma, Tama, Neptune, Carthagena, Bulkhead, State Route 116 at State Route 197, Chattanooga and Kossuth.

Richard Chittum
Richard "Dick" O. Chittum, 66, 906 Hawthorne Drive, St. Marys, died at 7:10 a.m. March 23, 2007, at St. Rita's Medical Center, Lima.
He was born April 4, 1940, in Dayton to James and Ruth Frey Chittum, who are deceased. On Aug. 27, 1966, he married Barbara L. McVey, who survives.
Also surviving are a son, Roger (Stephanie), Hebron; two sisters, Patricia (Mac) McDivitt, Beavercreek, and Nancy (Charles) Allen, Vandalia; and a granddaughter.
He worked for the Ohio Department of Natural Resources for 30 years, retiring as manager of the St. Marys Fish Hatchery. He was a 1958 graduate of Belmont High School in Dayton and received a bachelor of science from The Ohio State University. He was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church, St. Marys.
Services are 11 a.m. Tuesday at the church, the Rev. Anthony E. Cutcher officiating. Burial will follow at Gethsemane Cemetery, St. Marys.
Calling is 6-9 p.m. Monday and 9:30-10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Miller Funeral Home, St. Marys.
