Ronald Daugherty
Ronald L. Daugherty, 58, 1620 S. Knoxville Road, St. Marys, died on April 11, 2007, at Ohio State University Medical Center, Columbus. Death was due to natural causes.
He was born July 21, 1948, in Celina, to Robert and Marjorie Elsass Daugherty. His mother survives in Goetzville, Mich. On Jan. 4, 1980, he married Charlotte Sexton, who survives in St. Marys.
Also surviving are a son, Jeremy, Wapakoneta; a daughter, Angie (Ed) Homan, New Bremen; two brothers, Gary (Diana), Greenville, and Mike (Rita), St. Marys; a sister, Melanie (Dick) Goldsmith, Zanesfield; and four grandchildren.
He retired Feb. 28 from Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company, St. Marys, after 39 years. He was a U.S. Army veteran and 1967 graduate of Memorial High School, St. Marys. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Moulton, Veterans of Foreign Wars, American Legion Post 323, both of St. Marys, and Fraternal Order of Eagles Post 767, Wapakoneta.
Services are 11 a.m. Monday at Cisco Funeral Home, St. Marys, the Rev. Joy Miller officiating. Burial is at Elm Grove Cemetery, St. Marys.
Calling is 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Sunday and 10-11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home. The American Legion and VFW will hold services at 7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Contributions can be made to Lima Memorial Hospital or the church's easy access fund.
