Violet Mosier
Violet Ruth Mosier, 80, of Van Wert, died at 7:15 p.m. April 25, 2007, at Convoy Care Center, Convoy.
She was born Oct. 15, 1926, in Franklin, Pa., to Mathew M. and Catherine Jane Logan Burnett. On Aug. 22, 1948, she married Arthur W. Mosier, who died Sept. 23, 1996.
Surviving are four sons, Thomas A. (Joyce) and Garry B. (Lisa), all of Celina, Stephen B. (Linda) of Tucson, Ariz., and Gregory D. (Jamie) of Fort Wayne, Ind.; one daughter, Sharon Kay of Van Wert; a sister, Freda (Fred) Culler, Van Wert; 13 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Four brothers, Mathew, Max, William and Elmer Burnett, are deceased.
She was a homemaker, a member of First United Methodist Church and the United Methodist Women's Lydia Circle, both of Van Wert, and a former member of the church's Harmonettes.
Services are 1 p.m. Saturday at Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home & Crematory, Van Wert, the Rev. Paul Miller officiating. Burial will follow at Wright Cemetery, Converse.
Calling is 4-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
