Mercer County Commissioner Jerry Laffin explains to would-be neighbors of the proposed new jail that he and the county auditor are working on language for a sales tax increase issue to finance the law enforcement complex on the grounds of the Mercer County Home. He hopes to get it on the November general election ballot.
