* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...The following counties, in west central Ohio, Auglaize, Darke, Mercer and Shelby.
* WHEN...Until 700 PM EDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 356 PM EDT, radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are possible. - Some locations that may experience flooding include... Fort Loramie, New Bremen, Minster, Newport, New Knoxville, Russia, Osgood, Willowdell, Chickasaw, Kettlersville, Yorkshire, Lake Loramie State Park, Egypt, Maria Stein, Mccartyville and Houston.

Charles Payton
Charles Payton, 80, of Celina, died at 2:52 p.m. May 15, 2007, at Mercer County Community Hospital, Coldwater.
He was born June 5, 1926, in Osborn, to Warren and Maggie Burton Payton.
Surviving are a son, Dwight, Franklin; two sisters, Betty and Anna, both of Middletown; and a granddaughter.
He retired from Inland Container where he had been a supervisor, was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II, and was a member of Montezuma United Methodist Church, Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 5713, Celina, and American Legion Post 323, St. Marys.
Burial was 11 a.m. Monday at Memorial Park Cemetery, Dayton, the Rev. Bruce Crane officiated.
Bayliff & Son Funeral Home, Cridersville, handled arrangments.
