Celina Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) members, the ladies auxiliary and volunteers, labored under the hot sun Thursday and Friday to stake out 3,433 memorial crosses in honor of the military men and women who have died while serving with the United States Armed Forces in Iraq. Three black crosses have been added to signify the three MIAs in Iraq. The display, beside the VFW facility in Celina, will remain in place through June 10.
