Hopewell Grange member Beatrice Linn slices a blue-ribbon hickory nut cake to serve at the organization's dining hall. The Grange offers homemade fare like meat loaf, baked chicken and dressing, noodles, pickled beets and tasty desserts ranging from angel food cake to fruit pie in an air-conditioned hall.
