Lois Wissman
Lois A. Wissman, 75, 16 N. Jefferson St., New Bremen, died at 1:25 p.m. Aug. 13, 2007, at Dorothy Love Retirement Community, Sidney.
She was born Dec. 26, 1931, in New Bremen, to Forest and Hazel Kies Combs. On April 17, 1952, she married Kenneth Wissman, who died Sept. 11, 1994.
Surviving are a daughter, Valerie (Joe) May, Botkins; and two grandchildren.
She retired from New Bremen Insurance Agency and was a 1949 graduate of New Bremen High School. She was a member of St. Paul United Church of Christ, New Bremen, and also attended Immanuel United Church of Christ, Kettlersville.
Services are 10:30 a.m. Thursday at St. Paul United Church of Christ, New Bremen, the Rev. John W. Tostrick officiating. Burial is at German Protestant Cemetery, New Bremen. She will be cremated at her request.
Calling is 5-7 p.m. Wednesday at Gilberg-Hartwig Funeral Home, New Bremen, and 9:30-10:30 a.m. Thursday at the church.
Contributions can be made to St. Paul or Immanuel Church memorial fund.
