Light snow will overspread the area from the northwest this morning. An increased coverage of snow showers is expected to develop this afternoon into the evening hours. Slick spots may develop on roads tonight as temperatures drop and northwest winds gust up to 30 mph. Coverage of snow showers is expected to decrease overnight before ending Monday morning. Most the area will see an accumulation of 1 to 2 inches. Locally higher amounts are possible in areas where heavier snow bands develop this afternoon into early evening.
Roadways may become slick. If traveling, be alert, slow down and allow extra time to reach your destination.

Irma Parry
Celina native Irma P. Parry, 88, of Lancaster, died Aug. 1, 2007, in Tampa, Fla.
She was born Feb. 1, 1919, in Celina, to Harry F. and Cady Preston. Her husband of 67 years, Carroll D. Parry II, survives.
Also surviving are a son, Thomas A., Little River, S.C.; and two daughters, Diana M., Lancaster, and Elizabeth P. Burns, Tampa.
Deceased are two sons, Carroll P. III and John D.
She graduated from Grant Nursing School where she received her degree as a registered nurse in 1939.
A memorial service will be held at a later date in Lithopolis. Her body was cremated.
Contributions can be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society or University Community Hospital Carrollwood Foundation of Tampa.
Funeral arrangements were handled by Florida Mortuary of Tampa.
