Alberta Miller
Alberta "Bertie" Mary Miller, 85, of Rockford, died Jan. 16, 2008, at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne, Ind.
She was born May 13, 1922, to Henry F. and Ida Yewey Wurster. On July 29, 1941, she married David L. Miller, who died Nov. 16, 1985.
Survivors include a son, Marlin E. "Gene" (Linda), Van Wert; two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Deceased are two brothers, Gail and Emery Wurster; and two sisters, Gladys Miller and Evelyn Poppe.
She was a homemaker and member of Olive Branch Church of God, Rockford, and its Women's Christian Service Council.
Services are 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Ketcham-Ripley Funeral Home in Rockford, the Rev. Steve Waterman officiating. Burial is at Riverside Cemetery, Rockford.
Calling is 2-8 p.m. Friday and after 9:30 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
