Velma Ebbing
Velma Ebbing, 93, 3604 state Route 219, Coldwater, died Jan. 20, 2008, at 2:15 a.m. at Briarwood Manor Nursing Home.
She was born Dec. 8, 1914, in Celina to Joseph and Christina Johnsman Puthoff. On Jun 10, 1939, she married Edward Ebbing, who died Nov. 29, 1999.
Survivors are a son, Stan (Vicki), Coldwater; a daughter, Joyce (Bob) Baumeier of Florida; daughter-in-law, Elaine Ebbing, Coldwater; eight grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
Deceased is a son Clem; and one grandchild.
She was a homemaker and a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Coldwater and the St. Ann's Rosary Altar Society of the church.
Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the church, the Rev. Daniel Schmitmeyer officiating. Burial is at St. Elizabeth Cemetery, Coldwater.
Calling is 4-8 p.m. Tuesday and 9-10 a.m. Wednesday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Coldwater.
