A band of snow showers will drop into the region from northern Indiana, and push through the region through the afternoon. Some snow showers could produce a quick light coating of snow on elevated surfaces and bridges. Visibility may also be briefly reduced to a half mile or even less. Northwest winds will also gust up to 30 MPH.
Lighter snowfall will continue into the evening behind the initial band of snow showers, with accumulations from a few tenths to isolated accumulations of up to an inch.
Motorists should exercise caution and be prepared for rapidly changing conditions.

An employee of Fuel America in Celina changes the price of gasoline on the gas station's billboard along East Market Street. Gasoline prices remain on a roller coaster ride. Today's average price per gallon is $2.99 in the Grand Lake area, however, motorists reported filling up their tanks for as much as 15 cents less in some places and 5 cents more in others.
