* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1045 PM EDT, radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 0.5 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts up to 2 inches are possible. - Some locations that may experience flooding include... Celina, St. Marys, Rockford, Moulton, Mendon, Buckland, Neptune, Tama, State Route 116 at State Route 197, Kossuth and Chattanooga.

At 1111 PM EDT, radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 2 and 4 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are possible. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.

IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas.

James Amweg, Jr.
Celina resident James W. Amweg, Jr., 65, formerly of Ohio City, died Jan. 27, 2008, at his residence.
He was born May 10, 1942, in Van Wert to James W. and Mary Felger Amweg, who are deceased. His companion, Linda Howell, survives in Celina.
Other survivors are a son, Stephen (Michelle), Fredericksburg, Va.; a daughter, Lisa (Rob) Akes, Lumberton, Texas; two brothers, Danny (Linda), Ohio City, and Michael, Van Wert; a sister, Martha Cox, Van Wert; and four grandchildren.
He retired from Federal Mogul Corporation, Van Wert, after 30-plus years and was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War. He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Delphos, and the American Legion, Van Wert.
Services are 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home, Van Wert, the Rev. Randy Bevington officiating. Burial with full military honors will be conducted, time pending. He is being cremated.
Calling is 2-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
