Light snow will overspread the area from the northwest this morning. An increased coverage of snow showers is expected to develop this afternoon into the evening hours. Slick spots may develop on roads tonight as temperatures drop and northwest winds gust up to 30 mph. Coverage of snow showers is expected to decrease overnight before ending Monday morning. Most the area will see an accumulation of 1 to 2 inches. Locally higher amounts are possible in areas where heavier snow bands develop this afternoon into early evening.
Roadways may become slick. If traveling, be alert, slow down and allow extra time to reach your destination.

Donald Fenwick
Former St. Marys resident Donald Lee Fenwick, 74, of Largo, Fla., died at 12:15 p.m. Jan. 24, 2008, at Morton Plant Hospital, Clearwater, Fla.
He was born Oct. 31, 1933, in Louisville, Ky., to Sterling "Curly" and Eva Schaeftlein Fenwick, who are deceased. On Oct. 20, 1956, he married Barbara Bowen, formerly of Celina, who survives in Florida.
Other survivors are a son, Donald L. Jr. (Susan), Florida; two daughters, Christine (David) Hampton and Cheryl (Jeff) Hampton, all of Florida; a sister, Sandra (Bob) Burden, Florida.; 10 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Deceased are two brothers, Sterling Jr. and Robert; and a daughter, Cynthia.
He was a retired U.S. Navy chief petty officer and had an associate's degree in business.
Services, with full military honors, are 2:15 p.m. Feb. 11 at Bay Pines Veterans Memorial Park, St. Petersburg, Fla.
