At 1212 PM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located near New Bremen, moving northeast at 50 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 45 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Hail may cause minor damage to vegetation.
Locations impacted include... Newport, Fryburg, Montra, Egypt, Uniopolis, New Bremen, Buckland, Botkins, New Knoxville, Fort Loramie, Kettlersville, Moulton, Jackson Center, St. Marys, Anna, Kossuth, Lakeview, Lake Loramie State Park, Waynesfield, and Wapakoneta.
This includes I-75 in Ohio between mile markers 96 and 118.

Clarence Westgerdes
Former Fort Recovery resident Clarence E. Westgerdes, 87, of The Gardens at St. Henry, died at 2:05 a.m. Feb. 5, 2008, at Mercer County Community Hospital, Coldwater.
He was born Dec. 27, 1920, in St. Joseph to Joseph and Mary Steinbrunner Westgerdes.
He is survived by four sisters: Julianna Wellman, St. Henry, Dorothy (Donald) Muhlenkamp, Fort Recovery, Rosella "Sally" (Robert) Muhlenkamp, Portland, Ind., and Naomi Maynard, Oxford, Mass; a brother, Arnold (Viola), Fort Recovery; two sisters-in-law, Mildred and Ruth, both of Fort Recovery.
He was preceded in death by four brothers: Norbert, Wilbert, Andrew and an infant Rolandus; three sisters: Irene Kahlig and infants Mary Agnes and Mary Alice.
He owned and operated the former Westgerdes Cabinets & Floor Coverings, Fort Recovery.
He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and its Holy Name Society.
Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the church, the Rev. Thomas Dorn officiating. Calling is 2-8 p.m. Friday and 9-10 a.m. Saturday at Brockman-Boeckman Funeral Home, Fort Recovery.
