Mildred Carpenter
Former Celina resident, Mildred "Maxine" Carpenter, 87, died Feb. 7, 2008, in Stuart, Fla. Cause of death was not listed.
She was born Jan. 30, 1921, in Van Wert, to Earl and Mabel Helverson McCrory. On July 4, 1943, she married Francis W. Carpenter, who died July 9, 2001.
Surviving is a son, Michael Carpenter of Stuart.
She was a member of St. Paul's United Methodist Church, Celina.
Graveside services will be in April at the Woodland Cemetery in Van Wert, the Rev. Robert Metheny officiating.
