Scattered snow showers will continue through mid morning. With temperatures well below freezing, light snow accumulations will combine with lingering black ice from overnight, to create some slick spots on area roadways. In addition, brisk westerly winds will gust in the 25 to 35 mph range this morning. If traveling this morning, allow for some extra time to reach your destination. Be prepared for slick conditions, especially on bridges and overpasses as well as untreated surfaces.
Voters will see a replacement levy for Celina city school district on next Tuesday's primary election ballot. This levy is a 0.75 percent, five-year, income tax levy that would generate $2.175 million annually.
At the March 4 primary election, Parkway school district voters will decide on a 4.5-mill, five-year permanent improvement levy that would generate nearly $2.1 million to upgrade outdoor athletic facilities.
