St. Henry High School seniors may have lost the basketball exhibition game with faculty members last week (score:47-40) but they raised more than $1850 for the Mercer County Cancer Association and had a lot of fun doing it, according to high school Principal Frank Griesdorn. The faculty team, 15 in all, also included Rev. Tony Fortman and Rev. Magabe Benedict. About 25 seniors took turns playing in the game. The benefit game was spnsored by the St. Henry Student Council. No entrance fee was required but volunteer donations were collected and a 50-50 raffle was held.
