Sarah Stephenson
Sarah Gene Stephenson, 84, 944 Tama Road, Rockford, died at 8:47 p.m. April 6, 2008, at Van Wert County Hospital.
She was born Feb. 2, 1924, in Mercer County, to Albert and Ethel Monroe Harrison. On April 20, 1947, she married Richard Stephenson, who survives.
Other survivors are three sons, Tom (Judy) and David (Charlene), all of Rockford, and Mark (Twyla), Lake Forest, Calif.; eight grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
A brother, Donald Harrison, and a sister, Lilian Shively, are deceased.
She was a homemaker, a 1942 graduate of Celina High School and a member of Chattanooga United Methodist Church.
Services are 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the church, the Rev. Steve Oliver officiating. Burial is at Buck Cemetery, Celina.
Calling is 2-8 p.m. Wednesday at the Cisco Funeral Home, Celina, and after 9:30 a.m. Thursday at the church.
