The majority of the new addition to Mercer County Community Hospital in Coldwater will be for a new emergency department. The design by Celina-based architects Fanning/Howey shows two new entranceways on the northeast side of the hospital - one for outpatient services and the other for the emergency department. Extensive remodeling also is planned for the inside of the facility. The $6.2 million project is set to begin this summer.
