A few hours of light snow are expected late this evening, mainly after 8 pm. While accumulations will be light, some challenging travel conditions may develop given the cold temperatures.
Additional snow may linger through Monday morning with accumulations remaining light. However, increasing winds and very cold temperatures will support blowing snow, primarily in rural areas.
Challenging travel conditions will be possible starting late this evening, continuing through the day on Monday. Use caution and allow for extra time to reach your destination.

A new trial date has been set in the case of a Chickasaw man as Mercer County Common Pleas Court Judge Jeffrey Ingraham considers motions filed in the case.
Nicholas Schwieterman, 22, 90 Maple St., faces a five-day jury trial commencing Sept. 22. This replaces the original June 9 date set back in April. [More]
Bulldogs score five runs in final two innings to rally past Dover

AKRON - It took five innings for Celina batters to figure out Dover pitcher Kristen Moreland.
When they did, everyone got into the act.
The Bulldogs took the lead in the sixth inning, then put the game away in the top of the seventh to defeat the Tornadoes 5-1 in the Division II state softball semifinals at Firestone Stadium in Akron on Friday. [More]

COLUMBUS - Canton Central Catholic got a big performance from Grant McCoury and it was enough to send the Crusaders into the Division III state championship baseball game.
McCoury hit a pair of two-run home runs and got the win on the mound as CCC held off Coldwater 5-4 in the Division III state semifinals on Friday afternoon at Cooper Stadium in Columbus. [More]
