* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...The following counties, in west central Ohio, Auglaize, Darke, Mercer and Shelby.
* WHEN...Until 700 PM EDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 356 PM EDT, radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are possible. - Some locations that may experience flooding include... Fort Loramie, New Bremen, Minster, Newport, New Knoxville, Russia, Osgood, Willowdell, Chickasaw, Kettlersville, Yorkshire, Lake Loramie State Park, Egypt, Maria Stein, Mccartyville and Houston.

William Horstman
William T. Horstman, 82, 8551 Botkins Road, New Knoxville, died at 10:30 p.m. June 17, 2008, at the Golden Living Center-Valley, St. Marys.
He was born Jan. 6, 1926, in Minster to John and Alvina Berning Horstman. On Aug. 23, 1952, he married Oneda Bohman, who survives.
Other survivors are four sons, Tom (Pat), Beavercreek, Joe (Connie), Findlay, Mike (Jane), Minster, and David (Lynn), New Knoxville; four daughters, Pam (Ted) Prueter, Ada, Diane (Tod) Preston, St. Marys, Cathy (Josh) Billing, Minster, and Jenny (Steve) Oldiges, Findlay; three sisters, Martha Rosenbeck, Rita Harting, and Katie Horstman, all of Minster.
Deceased are four brothers, Anthony, Henry, Cletus and John Horstman.
He retired as an insurance agent for Business Men's Insurance Company of America, where he had been salesman of the year several times. He also farmed and was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Botkins, were he served as a lector, a past commander and member of the American Legion, New Knoxville, and a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Wapakoneta. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II in the Pacific and he was a 1944 graduate of Minster High School and a 1950 graduate of Ohio State University. He played baseball at O.S.U. and later for the Western Ohio Buckeye League.
Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the church, the Rev. Patrick Sloneker officiating.
Calling is 2-8 p.m. Friday and 9-9:45 a.m. Saturday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Minster. Burial will follow at the church cemetery. Full military honors at the graveside will be conducted by the American Legion, New Knoxville.
