Maurice Broerman
Maurice E. Broerman, 82, of 2400 College Ave., Goshen, Ind., died at 2:40 p.m. June 26, 2008, at Courtyard Healthcare Center in Goshen.
He was born Feb. 23, 1926 in Burkettsville, to Aloyisous and Monica Broerman.
Survivors are a daughter, DeAnna Powell of Indiana; and a brother, Sylvester Broerman, Minster
Deceased are five wives.
He was a private roofing and construction contractor and a veteran of the U.S. Navy in World War II and a survivor of Pearl Harbor. He was a member of the DAV (Disabled American Veterans) in Ligonier, Ind.
Private family services will be held at a later date with burial in Burkettsville. Elkhart Cremation Services is in charge of arrangements.
There will be no visitation.
Contributions can be made to the charity of the donor's coice.
