Edna Lower

Edna C. Lower, 94, died June 27, 2008, at Edwards Hospital in Naperville, Ill.

She was born in Celina on May 9, 1914, to Charles and Esta Orr Lower. On Nov. 29, 1934, she married Fay A. "Pete" Lower in Columbia City, Ind.. He died in 1997.

She was a secretary with G.C. Murphy Company in Fort Wayne, Ind., for sixteen years, retiring from there in 1972.

Survivors are a son Dave (Joyce) Lower of Memphis, Tenn.; a daughter Jana (Michael) LaSalle of Naperville, Ill.; three grandsons, and four great-grandchildren.

Deceased are a brother and two sisters.

Services are 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at D.O. McComb & Sons Maplewood Park Funeral Home, Fort Wayne. Burial in at Lindenwood Cemetery, Fort Wayne.
Calling is 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
