Light snow is expected to develop across the area after midnight, shifting to the southeast through the predawn hours. This band of light snow will affect the region by the Thursday morning commute, eventually pushing south of the area by mid- morning.
Minor snow accumulations of less than an inch are expected, but cold ground conditions will allow for quick accumulation on any untreated surfaces. The main impacts are expected to be reduced visibilities and some slick spots on untreated surfaces.
Motorists should exercise caution. Plan extra time for the Thursday morning commute.

Andrew Droesch
Andrew A. Droesch, 80, 16 E. Walnut St., Chickasaw, died at 6:24 a.m. Aug. 13, 2008, at St. Rita's Medical Center, Lima.
He was born Nov. 29, 1927, in Chickasaw, to Lorenz and Elizabeth Bruggeman Droesch. On May 5, 1956, he married Rosemary Limbert, who survives.
Other survivors are a son, Michael L. (Dolores), Tipp City; a brother, Bernard (Lucille), Chickasaw; three sisters, Cecelia (Don) Gerdeman, Rose Ann Mox and Barbara (Don) Heitz, all of Delphos,; a sister-in-law, Mary, Chickasaw, and three grandchildren.
Deceased are a son, Timothy L.; three brothers, Tony, Joseph and Camillus; two sisters, Monica Schoen and Mathilda Rutschilling; and a brother-in-law, Robert Mox.
He retired from the Goodyear Tire and Rubber Co., St. Marys, after 37 years service, and was a member of the Precious Blood Catholic Church, Chickasaw, and the American Legion and Knights of St. John, both in Maria Stein. He was a former town councilor and served at the water company, both in Chickasaw, and was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean Conflict.
Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the church, the Rev. Gene Schnipke officiating. Burial with full military honors is at the church cemetery.
Calling is 5-8 p.m. Friday and 9-10 a.m. Saturday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Minster.
