* WHAT...Very cold wind chills as low as 13 below zero expected.
* WHERE...In Indiana, Wayne County. In Ohio, Auglaize, Darke, Hardin, Logan, Mercer, and Shelby Counties.
* WHEN...From 6 AM to noon EST Friday.
* IMPACTS...Wind chill values can lead to hypothermia with prolonged exposure.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...While temperatures are expected to be in the upper single digits (above zero), a northwest wind at 10-15 mph will make temperatures feel as if they are colder than 10 below zero.

Richard Dirksen
Richard B. Dirksen, 72, of Clune Stucke Road, Maria Stein, died at 8:36 a.m. Aug. 27, 2008, at St. Rita's Medical Center, Lima.
He was born Dec. 8, 1935, in New Weston, to Linus A. and Amelia Ahrens Dirksen. On Sept. 12, 1959, he married Marjorie M. Post, who survives.
Other survivors are five daughters, Susan (James) Gehret, Maria Stein, Carla (Dwain) Guggenbiller, Columbus, Paula (David) Griesdorn, Coldwater, Angela (Richard "Buck") Bruns, Chickasaw, and Carol (Brad) Muhlenkamp, Osgood; a brother, Jerry, Osgood; three sisters, Bertha Dirksen, Osgood, Mary (Roman) Peterman, Dayton, and Martha (Chuck) Niccum, Upland, Ind.; and 14 grandchildren.
Deceased is a grandson.
He was retired from Buschur Electric, Inc., Minster. He also farmed and was a member of St. Nicholas Catholic Church, Osgood, and its men's society.
Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Monday at the church, the Rev. David L. Zink officiating.  Burial is at St. Martin's Cemetery, Osgood.
Calling is 2-8 p.m. Sunday and 9-10 a.m. Monday at Gehret Funeral Home, Fort Loramie.
