Light snow is expected to develop across the area after midnight, shifting to the southeast through the predawn hours. This band of light snow will affect the region by the Thursday morning commute, eventually pushing south of the area by mid- morning.
Minor snow accumulations of less than an inch are expected, but cold ground conditions will allow for quick accumulation on any untreated surfaces. The main impacts are expected to be reduced visibilities and some slick spots on untreated surfaces.
Motorists should exercise caution. Plan extra time for the Thursday morning commute.

Cara Siefring
Cara Siefring, 4, Burkettsville, died at 12:35 p.m. Sept. 11, 2008 at Nationwide Children's Medical Center, Columbus.
She was born Oct. 27, 2003 in Coldwater to Scott and Cheryl Wenning Siefring, who survive.
Other survivors are two brothers, Seth and Caleb, at home; grandparents, Roger (Carol) Siefring, Burkettsville, and Larry (Cindy) Wenning, St. Henry; and great grandparents, Alvera Wehrkamp and Cletus Wenning, both of Coldwater, Ruth Schoenlein, St. Henry, and Hilda Siefring, Burkettsville.
She was a member of St. Bernard's Catholic Church, Burketsville.
Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the church, the Rev. Tony Fortman officiating. Burial is at St. Bernard's Cemetery.
Calling is 2-8 p.m. Monday and 9-10 a.m. Tuesday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, St. Henry.
