Light snow is expected to develop across the area after midnight, shifting to the southeast through the predawn hours. This band of light snow will affect the region by the Thursday morning commute, eventually pushing south of the area by mid- morning.
Minor snow accumulations of less than an inch are expected, but cold ground conditions will allow for quick accumulation on any untreated surfaces. The main impacts are expected to be reduced visibilities and some slick spots on untreated surfaces.
Motorists should exercise caution. Plan extra time for the Thursday morning commute.

Jerome Kuether
Coldwater native Jerome "Jerry" H. Kuether, 50, of Houston, died at 8:45 p.m. Sept. 18, 2008, at St. Rita's Medical Center, Lima. Death was due to natural causes.
He was born Oct. 2, 1957, in Coldwater to Lawrence A. and Mary J. Eilerman Kuether. His mother survives in Houston.
Also surviving are a sister, Lois Poeppelman, Yorkshire; and a brother-in-law, Larry Hoying, Fort Loramie.
Deceased are a sister, Phyllis Hoying; and a brother-in-law, Myrle Poeppelman.
He worked at Clopay Building Products Co., Russia and was a farmer. A 1976 graduate of Houston High School, he was a member of Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, Newport, where he served as an usher. He was a trustee for the Houston Community Association. He also was a member of the Houston Grange, serving as past master, the Ohio Farm Bureau and Clopay Pioneer Club.
Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the church, the Rev. Steven Shoup officiating. Burial is at the church cemetery.
Calling is 3-8 p.m. Monday and 9-10 a.m. Tuesday at Gehret Funeral Home, Fort Loramie.
