Owen Weaver
Owen E. Weaver, 94, 1100 Myers Road, Celina, died at 11:28 p.m. Sept. 21, 2008, at Joint Township District Memorial Hospital, St. Marys.
He was born Oct. 7, 1913, in Mercer County, to Chester and Oral Layland Weaver. On April 4, 1942, he married Leota Eichenauer, who died in 2000.
Surviving are a son, Gerald "Gerry" (Cheryl), Fremont, Ind.; a daughter, Marjorie (Bert) Bentley, Celina; four grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Deceased is a sister, Mildred Krueger.
He was a retired farmer and drove a truck for Pet Milk. He was a member of Bethany United Methodist Church, Celina, and graduated in 1929 from Celina High School.
Services are 1 p.m. Wednesday at Cisco Funeral Home, Celina, the Rev. James Richter officiating. Burial is at Buck Cemetery, Celina.
Calling is 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
