Snow showers to continue this morning. Slick spots on area roads will be possible this morning with temperatures below freezing. Motorists can expect rapid changes in visibility when encountering some of the heavier snow showers. Northwest winds gusting up to 30 mph will add to the travel impacts due to blowing and drifting snow.
Roadways may become slick. If traveling, be alert, slow down and allow extra time to reach your destination.

Fire department visit

Kindergarten students from Minster Elementary School eagerly take advantage of an opportunity to see a heavy rescue truck from back to front during a Friday visit to the Minster-Jackson Township Fire Department in observance of Fire Protection Day. Firefighters also went to school for programs geared toward students in grades one through three.
