Douglas Dilbone
Douglas D. Dilbone, 64, of Columbus, died Oct. 14, 2008, at Mount Carmel St. Anne Hospital, Westerville.
He was born Oct. 7, 1944, in Lima, to Darst and Florence Proffitt Dilbone. On Jan. 26, 1985, he married Sharon Schaffter, who survives.
Other survivors are a sister, JoAnne (John) Griggs, Mendon; a brother, Gordon (Iris) of Florida; a mother-in-law, Edith Schaffter, Wooster; and a sister-in-law, Nova Dilbone, Lima.
Deceased are a brother, Harold; a sister, Martha Ruth Griggs; and a father-in-law, Carl Schaffter.
He was a professional auctioneer and member of Trinity United Church of Christ, Wooster. He was a Parkway High School graduate.
A memorial service was held Monday at McIntire, Davis and Greene Funeral Home, Wooster, the Rev. C. Ronald Wilson officiated. Burial was in Wooster Cemetery.
