Lucille Suhr
Lucille Suhr, 93, 10370 Neptune-Mendon road, Mendon, died at 7:30 a.m. Nov. 24, 2008, at the Gardens at Celina.
She was born Dec. 14, 1914, in Mendon, to Gailard and Evelyn Lampy Protsman. On June 21, 1933, she married Edward R. Suhr, who died May 14, 1989.
Surviving are a daughter Janell (Stanley) Dicke, Mendon; five grandchidlren, 13 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Deceased is a daughter, Phyllis Ann.
She worked at Mendenhall's Beauty Shop, Celina and then operated Lucille's Beauty Shop in Mendon.
She was a member of the Mendon United Methodist Church, and a former member of the Union Grange. She attended the former Protsman School, near Mendon for eight years and then Mendon-Union High School.
Services are 11 a.m. Saturday at W.H. Dick & Sons-Hellwarth Funeral Home, Mendon, the Rev. Lynn Huffman officiating. Burial is at Mendon Cemetery.
Calling is 3-7 p.m. Friday and 10-11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
