Light snow is expected to develop across the area after midnight, shifting to the southeast through the predawn hours. This band of light snow will affect the region by the Thursday morning commute, eventually pushing south of the area by mid- morning.
Minor snow accumulations of less than an inch are expected, but cold ground conditions will allow for quick accumulation on any untreated surfaces. The main impacts are expected to be reduced visibilities and some slick spots on untreated surfaces.
Motorists should exercise caution. Plan extra time for the Thursday morning commute.

Danny Gould
Former Nelsonville resident Danny R. Gould, 71, of Hoagland, Ind., died at 6:16 a.m. Dec. 4, 2008, at Adams County Memorial Hospital, Decatur, Ind.
He formerly lived in Celina and attended Celina City Schools.
He was born Dec. 23, 1936. His wife of 50 years, Barbara Klingler survives.
Other survivors are two sons, Scott, Indianapolis, Ind., and David (Carol), Fort Wayne, Ind.; a daughter, Suzanne (Barry) Zadai, Crawfordsville, Ind.; seven stepbrothers and sisters; and five grandchildren.
Deceased are a twin sister, Diane Lammers, and a brother, Thomas.
He was owner and founder of Indiana Ceramic Supply, Indianapolis, before his retirement in 1998.
Services are noon Monday at E. Harper & Son Funeral Home, New Haven, Ind., the Rev. Rick Taylor officiating. Burial is at a later date. Calling is one hour prior to service at the funeral home.
Contributions can be made to the American Lung Association or hospice.
