Mary Saintignon
Mary Ann Saintignon, 76, 08989 county Road 219A, Celina, died at 4:30 a.m. Dec. 9, 2008, at Joint Township District Memorial Hospital, St. Marys.
She was born Dec. 23, 1931, in Mercer County, to Herbert and Asella Miller Muhlenkamp. On Nov. 9, 1954, she married Alvin E. Saintignon, who survives.
Other survivors are two sons, Bruce (Lois), Celina, and Rick (Michele), New Bremen; three daughters, Carol (Alan) Kruse, New Knoxville, Connie (Cliff) Rempfer, Mendon, and Elaine (Dan) Baumer, Celina; four brothers, Bernard (Kathleen) Muhlenkamp and Lavern (Patricia) Muhlenkamp, all of Coldwater, Robert (Josephine) Muhlenkamp, Rockford, and Gerald (Eileen) Muhlenkamp, Celina; two sisters, Pauline Hess, Coldwater, and Dorothy (Louis) Hoyng, Celina; a brother-in-law, Eldon (Bonnie) Saintignon, St. Marys; a sister-in-law, Laverne (Leo) Fisher, Wapakoneta; 15 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Deceased are two sons, Randall and Timothy.
She was a homemaker and had worked at the former Mersman Furniture Co., Celina, the former G.C. Murphy Company, St. Marys, and as a bookkeeper for Saintignon Excavating, Celina. She was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, Montezuma, and its ladies' sodality, and was a graduate of the former Immaculate Conception High School, Celina.
Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Friday at the church, the Rev. James Dugal officiating. Rosary will begin at 10 a.m. Burial is at the church cemetery.
Calling is 2-8 p.m. Thursday at Miller Funeral Home, St. Marys.
